Military Systems Engineer

This role is designed for seasoned engineers to oversee engineering initiatives within a defense program office.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize engineering methodologies to assess, analyze, plan, design, develop, test, or evaluate military weaponry systems.
- Prepare and review engineering documentation, technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other essential technical materials.
- Engage in activities such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, and resource management.
- Conduct analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, or evaluation of software and components related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems or management information systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline from an accredited institution, accompanied by 6 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience: Proven capability to lead technical initiatives throughout all phases of product development. Possess extensive technical knowledge in an Engineering discipline. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple security requirements. Familiarity with Department of Defense Acquisition Programs. Provide program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to government project leads. Collect, organize, and interpret technical data related to weapon system acquisition initiatives. Collaborate with programs to evaluate performance against plans and identify technical risks. Monitor project status and timelines. Conduct project status analysis and produce high-quality technical reports and presentations. Maintain communication with government team counterparts.
- Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
