Position Overview:

The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking an experienced professional to spearhead the development of advanced sensor fusion capabilities for military aircraft, specifically the F/A-18 and EA-18G models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing sensor fusion technologies.
  • Guide a dedicated team in optimizing the performance of sensor fusion through rigorous modeling, analytical processes, and data evaluation.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to ensure effective value delivery to clients through meticulous program planning and requirements assessment.
  • Oversee and manage the financial, scheduling, and performance aspects of several sensor fusion initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for Data Fusion projects associated with key contracts.
  • Willingness to travel may be necessary, and possession of a Top Secret clearance is required.

This position reports directly to the IPT Chief Engineer and presents a unique opportunity to lead groundbreaking sensor fusion projects within the aerospace sector.
