Lead Engineer for Sensor Fusion Innovations

Position Overview:
The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking an experienced professional to spearhead the development of advanced sensor fusion capabilities for military aircraft, specifically the F/A-18 and EA-18G models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing sensor fusion technologies.
- Guide a dedicated team in optimizing the performance of sensor fusion through rigorous modeling, analytical processes, and data evaluation.
- Engage with various stakeholders to ensure effective value delivery to clients through meticulous program planning and requirements assessment.
- Oversee and manage the financial, scheduling, and performance aspects of several sensor fusion initiatives.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for Data Fusion projects associated with key contracts.
- Willingness to travel may be necessary, and possession of a Top Secret clearance is required.
This position reports directly to the IPT Chief Engineer and presents a unique opportunity to lead groundbreaking sensor fusion projects within the aerospace sector.
