Position Summary

This role is designed for skilled engineers to oversee engineering initiatives within a defense program office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize engineering methodologies to investigate, analyze, design, develop, test, or assess military weapon systems.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation, including technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other essential technical materials.
  • Conduct tasks related to system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, and resource management.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software and components related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems or management information systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline from an accredited institution, accompanied by 6 years of pertinent experience.
  • Experience: Proven capability to lead technical initiatives throughout all phases of product development. Possess comprehensive technical knowledge in an Engineering discipline. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple security considerations. Familiarity with Department of Defense Acquisition Programs. Provide program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to government leadership. Collect, organize, and interpret technical data related to weapon system acquisition projects. Engage with programs to evaluate performance against plans and identify technical risks. Monitor program/project status and timelines. Conduct project status analysis and produce high-quality technical reports and presentations. Maintain communication with government team counterparts.
  • Security Clearance: Must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
