We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician to join our team at BGSF for a contract-to-hire position.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network support and be prepared to work onsite.

Role Overview: This role is essential in providing assistance with technology-related issues faced by employees and departments in a 24/7 operational environment. The technician will oversee the stability and continuity of the company's electrical and network systems.

  • Identify and resolve incidents by following established procedures.
  • Conduct system health checks and maintenance tasks in accordance with documented protocols.
  • Familiarity with job scheduling tools, activation, monitoring, and storage processes.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of server operating systems, file systems, data center infrastructure, and basic data recovery techniques.
  • Have a basic knowledge of networking protocols, principles, and concepts.
  • Communicate critical issues clearly and effectively to relevant personnel.
  • Understand the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computing devices, peripherals, and software.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting of network and computing devices when feasible.
  • Escalate unresolved issues according to established protocols.
  • Provide training and orientation to customers on hardware and software usage as necessary.
  • Be available to respond to inquiries consistently.
  • Take responsibility for resolving customer emails within set timelines.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, embodying the role of the "Voice of the Customer".
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in collaborative team settings as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to identify and lead the resolution of issues to enhance customer service.
  • Timely response to customer requests or inquiries using established methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in contact centers or helpdesk environments.
  • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Microsoft products such as Windows and Office.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
