This individual will be part of a global support team that utilize the "follow-the-sun" business model.

We start our day in the APAC region, followed by Europe and ending our cycle in the Americas. We have application support analysts in each region focusing on production issues that arise during their day. Since the regions overlap, we expect the members of the team to assist users in the other regions as the needs arise.

Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

The EIMT department builds and maintains a variety of software applications and tools that facilitate the investment process across SBUs. The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The successful candidate's primary focus will be managing the production environment for the trading applications we support. The specific tasks include, but not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day application-level support for production incidents
  • Have a keen eye on the production environment and following all the protocols with regards to production changes throughout the day
  • Central point of contact for all Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset and FX Technology related escalations
  • Ensure all incidents are effectively logged, escalated, and followed up on

Provide a consistently high level of client service to our business partners

What makes this role unique or interesting (if applicable)?

Our global applications support team is comprised of senior and junior individuals that work well together. The group is friendly and always looking to share their knowledge with their teammates. More so than any other team, we interface with business users from all asset-classes that utilize our applications. Having this exposure allows us to talk to business users as well as development and business analysts from every application that we support. This will allow you to increase not only your technical knowledge but also improve the financial and business acumen.

What is the professional development value of this role, i.e. what learning and professional growth does the role offer the candidate?

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of how an asset-management firm operates. From the inception of an idea from a portfolio manager to the trading lifecycle of an order until it becomes a position in our portfolios. This will also be an opportunity to increase your technical knowledges as well as looking for ways to improve the existing workflows. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to enhance our day-to-day operations and we support and encourage thinking "outside the box".

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years of Financial Services experience preferably in a Trading or Asset Management environment
  • Excellent Client Service & Communication skills & ability to work well in a fast-paced trading floor environment
