About the Role

Couchbase is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for selling our leading NoSQL database, Capella, to Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings objectives by closing business with existing and new accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline by uncovering opportunities at existing accounts and establishing new accounts.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our product line to customers and prospects.
  • Travel to customer sites to build relationships and close deals.
  • Manage opportunities and forecast sales performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of producing new logos and pipeline.
  • Ability to articulate a clear understanding of our product and its value proposition.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to show value to clients.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive extremely fast.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling cloud solutions.
  • Training in Strategic Selling methodology (M-H, MEDDIC desired).
