About the Role

Couchbase is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including net new logos and existing account expansions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Lead presentations and demonstrations of Couchbase's cloud database platform to potential customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans, including marketing and product development
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Sell a complete solution of software, services, and support to ensure customer success
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise technology in a fast-paced and competitive market, with a proven track record of quota achievement
  • MEDDIC or equivalent sales methodology training
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to demonstrate the value of Couchbase's platform to customers and prospects
  • SaaS selling experience, or demonstrable understanding of hyperscalers/as-a-service offerings
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be an outstanding team player
  • Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive quickly
  • Database or developer selling experience
