Position Overview

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Integration Specialist to contribute to our cloud modernization initiatives at Peraton. This role involves providing expert guidance in enterprise engineering, architecture, and integration to shape the future architecture of our Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the Enterprise Engineering & Architecture Group's Lead Integrator Team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting comprehensive enterprise engineering analyses, including vendor comparisons and requirements traceability, to enhance NGA's Multiple Cloud / Integrated Platform as a Service (iPaaS) Architecture Patterns.
  • Offering strategic insights on utilizing iPaaS for effective management and orchestration of multi-cloud environments, evaluating various implementation strategies.
  • Identifying and documenting IT risks, issues, and opportunities related to C2E engineering and integration.
  • Providing expert consultation for the development of briefings and engineering documentation for Agency Engineering and Architecture Review Boards, Readiness Reviews, and Acquisition Milestones.
  • Collaborating with Mission Partners to comprehend C2E strategies, identifying services and Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) that can enhance efficiencies, and coordinating system migrations across agencies and multiple cloud platforms.
  • Delivering technical assessments to address C2E technical and business challenges.
  • Leading cross-organizational initiatives to ensure alignment and progress towards shared objectives, including advancing architecture patterns for a multi-cloud environment and promoting digital acquisitions for C2E and beyond.

Required Skills and Experience:

Applicants must possess:
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 18 years of technical experience, with systems integration experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Extensive experience in systems integration within government sectors, focusing on large, complex System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments, including:
    • Proven expertise with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, and/or Google.
    • Demonstrated leadership in engineering thought and planning.
    • Strong background in engineering processes and hands-on experience with architecture artifacts and design patterns.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and pass a polygraph examination.
Desired Skills:

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience with Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers in classified environments.
  • Experience in Cloud-to-Cloud migrations.
  • Knowledge of iPaaS and PaaS integration within multi-cloud environments.
  • Understanding of Cloud implementations for Data Mesh and Data Fabrics.
  • Experience with IC Community Data Centers and knowledge of Joint Architectures.
  • Familiarity with IC Acquisition Pathways and Processes.
  • Experience with agile project management tools, such as Jira.
  • Relevant Cloud Certifications and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certifications.

Compensation:

The typical salary range for this position is $146,000 - $234,000, reflecting the expected compensation based on experience and other relevant factors.
