Senior Integration Specialist:

Overall Assignment Overview:

The Senior Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering Enterprise Integration and Modernization assistance for ongoing initiatives within the Analytic and Exploitation Environment, Foundation GEOINT Mission, and various modernization efforts across IT Infrastructure and GEOINT systems. This position involves collaborating with the Government to facilitate engineering activities across different organizational levels, ensuring seamless system development and enhancement. The Senior Integration Specialist will lead the strategic planning of engineering and integration tasks while addressing any arising challenges. This role requires direct interaction with Government Office/Division Chiefs to effectively prioritize assignments and mobilize the necessary resources for task execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Government Office/Division Chiefs in evaluating, documenting, and monitoring new engineering requirements while organizing technical exchange meetings (TEMs) to keep both Government and Contractor teams informed about systems engineering and integration efforts.
  • Support the Government in resource allocation, coordination, and analytical tasks.
  • Coordinate project timelines to align with established strategic objectives.
  • Organize major systems engineering Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including meeting scheduling and preparation of presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of documents, records, forms, reports, and plans related to systems engineering and integration activities.
  • Oversee change management processes to align resources, identify priority shifts, and determine required skillsets.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or equivalent expert-level experience as a Senior Integration Specialist.
  • Extensive experience in engineering, design, and analysis of IT or related systems, covering all phases of design, development, analysis, documentation, and the establishment of standards and guidelines for tasks performed.
  • Proven experience in government or industry within the DoD/IC Acquisition Process or PPBES.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Certification in Software Development Frameworks.
  • INCOSE Expert System Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
  • Experience in integrating solutions utilizing Cloud-Based Technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Experience in integrating solutions with structured and unstructured Big Data.
  • Experience in integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
Security Clearance Requirement:
  • Active TS SCI clearance with a willingness to undergo a polygraph examination if necessary.
