Position Overview

Role Summary:

As a Senior Systems Integration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Government by managing and ensuring the integrity of the Future State Enterprise Architecture. This position focuses on Business Architecture and is essential for aligning strategic goals with technological solutions, thereby facilitating agency business transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies. You will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, documentation, and governance of the Future State EA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute systems integration initiatives across various agencies to guarantee timely and precise GEOINT delivery.
  • Oversee a comprehensive systems perspective, including a thorough understanding of the interconnections, dependencies, and requirements related to cloud services, infrastructure, and security.
  • Deliver agile, standardized, and repeatable enterprise architecture processes that produce actionable and authoritative artifacts for cross-agency planning and decision-making.
  • Translate and contextualize strategic priorities to meet operational requirements, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and tactical implementation across budgetary programs and projects.
  • Guide the development of the Future State Enterprise Architecture or the re-engineering of existing architectures.
  • Facilitate strategic IT planning for future transformations, enhancing agency efficiency. Create artifacts such as time-based enterprise architecture roadmaps and value streams, documenting both current and future states at a high level along with transition plans.
  • Conduct cross-agency analyses to identify overlapping capabilities, associated investments, gaps, and transformation opportunities. Align strategy with projects and budgets, identifying discrepancies between investment and execution, as well as dependencies and risks across programs and projects.
  • Establish key performance indicators and best practices for organizational deliverables.
  • Assist in managing the enterprise architecture practice and its governance.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience, which may substitute for formal education.
  • Proven experience in integrating solutions utilizing Cloud-Based Technologies, including Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), on-demand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity, measured service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in architecting and developing large-scale, service-oriented software products.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and pass a polygraph examination.
Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, including relevant processes, tools, and languages.
  • Experience in integrating solutions that utilize both structured and unstructured Big Data.
  • Experience with Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to connect organizational strategy with execution.
  • Knowledge of business capability models, value streams, and enterprise architecture components.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience in driving business transformation.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining business architecture frameworks.
