Position Overview:
The Senior Systems Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Government by directing and ensuring the integrity of the Future State Enterprise Architecture. This role, centered on Business Architecture, is essential for aligning strategic goals with technological solutions, facilitating agency business transformation, and enabling the adoption of emerging technologies. The specialist will guide and manage the planning, implementation strategies, documentation, maintenance, and governance of the Future State EA.
Core Duties:
- Lead and execute systems integration initiatives across various agencies to guarantee timely and precise GEOINT.
- Oversee a comprehensive systems perspective, including a technical grasp of the interrelations, dependencies, and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure, and security domains.
- Provide agile, standardized, and repeatable enterprise architecture processes that yield actionable and authoritative artifacts for cross-agency planning and decision-making.
- Interpret and contextualize strategic priorities to meet operational needs, supporting mission and IT execution by aligning strategic objectives with tactical implementations across budgetary programs and projects.
- Direct the development of the Future State Enterprise Architecture or re-engineering aspects of existing architectures.
- Facilitate strategic IT planning for the future, enhancing agency efficiency. Create artifacts such as time-based enterprise architecture roadmaps and value streams, documenting current and future states at a high level, along with a transition plan for efficient agency transformation.
- Conduct cross-agency analyses to identify overlapping capabilities and associated investments, gaps, and transformation opportunities. Align strategy with projects and budgets, pinpointing gaps between investment and execution, as well as dependencies and risks among programs and projects.
- Establish key performance indicators and best practices for organizational deliverables.
- Assist in managing the enterprise architecture practice and its governance.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience, which may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in integrating solutions utilizing Cloud-Based Technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in architecting and developing large-scale, service-oriented software products.
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph examination.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
- Experience in integrating solutions using both structured and unstructured Big Data.
- Experience in integrating solutions utilizing Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect organizational strategy with execution.
- Knowledge of business capability models, value streams, and enterprise architecture components.
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience in business transformation.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining business architecture frameworks.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
