Position Overview

This role is pivotal in steering the Client/Sales Engineering teams responsible for marketing Comcast's High Capacity Ethernet Networks, Internet, Video, and Advanced Voice services to Enterprise/Metro E, Mid-Market, and National Accounts. The position may involve managing a team comprising both exempt and non-exempt personnel. You will provide expert guidance to team members as necessary and develop strategies to enhance departmental efficiency while assisting in budget development and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a sales engineering team to drive Comcast Business Class sales.
  • Design and execute processes to enhance sales efficiency and minimize cycle times.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all Comcast Business Services products and offerings.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the sales engineering team and National Engineering and Technical Operations (NETO).
  • Manage relationships with external equipment vendors to enhance the technical knowledge of field teams.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to strategically position Comcast in the market.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; however, Comcast may also consider candidates with a combination of relevant coursework and experience or extensive professional experience in related fields.

Certifications

Relevant certifications may include Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Fortinet Network Security Expert Program - Professional (NSE-4), Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Design (JNCDA), and MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (MEF-CECP).

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
