Position Overview: The Lead Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in defining the methodologies and designs necessary for part production, as well as developing blueprints and setup sheets for operational use. This position involves overseeing engineering projects to ensure timely completion, compliance with project specifications, and enhancements in overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assess quality control procedures and propose enhancements to improve quality standards.


• Examine production workflows, schedules, methods, and related data, providing management with comprehensive reports that inform future manufacturing needs.


• Guarantee that manufacturing operations align with customer specifications.


• Review and analyze labor, material, and production costs, along with evaluating schedules and future production needs to support management decision-making.


• Strategically analyze and plan workflow, equipment layout, and spatial requirements to boost manufacturing efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining setting
    1. Proficient in cutting tools and techniques
    2. Familiarity with various machine types – including 3, 4, and 5-axis milling, turning, and multi-function machines
    3. Knowledgeable about different metal types – such as Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and High Nickel Alloys
    4. Understanding of common metal removal processes and techniques
  • Experience with CGTech Vericut is advantageous
  • Proficient in general computer skills
    1. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite – including Outlook, Excel, and Word
    2. Experience with Windows 10
    3. Ability to navigate and comprehend file structures and naming conventions in a Windows Explorer environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for training and multi-site support
