Job Description

Enjet Aero, LLC machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Enjet Aero, LLC, you will be responsible for determining methodologies and designs behind producing parts, as well as creating blueprints and setup sheets for shop use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control and Improvement: Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control to ensure the highest level of product quality.
  • Production Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data, and provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable informed decision-making.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that the company's manufacturing processes are in compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
  • Cost Management and Optimization: Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs, and review schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision-making.
  • Manufacturing Efficiency and Optimization: Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency and optimize production processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing/machining environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of cutting tools and techniques, different types of machines (3, 4, 5-axis milling, turning, multi-function), and different metal types (Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium, High Nickel Alloys, etc.).
  • Software and Systems: Experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, NX, and CGTech Vericut, and Epicor ERP System.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of the organization, and collaborate fluently in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing production requirements.
  • Travel: Possible travel as required for training and multi-site support.
