Position Summary

The Senior HR Generalist will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and will play a crucial role in managing employee and labor relations within the organization. This position involves interpreting policies and procedures to foster positive management-staff relations. The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for management on employee relations issues, addressing employee concerns, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing employee relations and labor relations activities.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into employee concerns and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with labor agreements.
  • Maintain regular communication with HR team members regarding employee issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of recent HR experience is required.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP or PHR.
  • Experience in labor relations is essential.

Compensation

The hourly pay for this position is $50.55, with individual wages determined by qualifications and experience.
