  2. Marketplace Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of the marketplace and carriers represented, including their forms and the ability to conduct coverage comparisons as needed.
  3. Product Selection: Identify and assess various carrier products to select the best type of coverage at a competitive price for our clients.
  4. Engaging Communication: Effectively explain coverage features, advantages, and disadvantages to promote the sale of insurance products.
  5. Underwriter Relationships: Develop amicable and productive relationships with underwriters to ensure seamless account management.
  6. Client Service: Work collaboratively with our Account Managers to provide timely, efficient, and effective service to our clients, including developing strong relationships between our team and the client.
  7. Problem Resolution: Stay informed and assist in resolving issues that may arise, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service.
  8. Customer Retention: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high client retention rates.
  9. Account Growth: Identify and pursue account rounding opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  10. Sales Objectives: Set and achieve annual sales objectives, ensuring our team meets and exceeds targets.
  11. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with emerging industry information, new products, coverage, and technology to provide the best possible service to our clients.
  12. Compliance: Adhere to agency Errors & Omissions guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
  1. Commercial Coverage Expertise: Possess a thorough understanding of business/commercial property and casualty coverage.
  2. Contract Analysis: Be competent in analyzing contracts to identify key exclusions and recognize coverage gaps.
  3. Team Collaboration: Demonstrate a cooperative and collaborative attitude with team members at all levels, fostering a respectful, professional, and collegial work environment.
  4. Problem-Solving: Be a self-starter with a life-long learning attitude, able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Interpret a wide variety of data and consider constructive thinking and alternative short-to-long term solutions.
  5. Sales Experience: Possess a proven record of pursuing and closing sales.
  6. Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  7. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to work successfully on several projects concurrently.
  8. Time Management: Possess excellent time and task management, and organizational skills.
  9. Computer Skills: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Applied Epic, Sales Force, K2, KIG Website, Succeed Management, and other relevant software.
  10. Insurance Knowledge: Pursue or have earned advanced insurance designations such as CIC, CRM, etc.
