Commercial Lines Sales Executive

The Knight Insurance Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Sales Executive to drive organic growth and write profitable, relationship-driven accounts under our Knight Vision process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate new relationships with individuals generating prospects that fit agency criteria and promote the agency.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest market trends and carrier offerings to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Identify and assess various carrier products to select the best type of coverage at a competitive price for the client.
  • Develop amicable, productive relationships with underwriters and work collaboratively to service clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times to ensure high client retention.
  • Seek and take advantage of account rounding opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Set and achieve annual sales objectives while maintaining a thorough understanding of business/commercial property and casualty coverage.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of business/commercial property and casualty coverage.
  • Competence in analyzing contracts to identify key exclusions and recognize coverage gaps.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work successfully on several projects concurrently.
  • Excellent time and task management, and organizational skills.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
