Position Summary
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role within the Guest Services team, overseeing the hotel’s overnight operations. This position involves ensuring the accuracy of guest accounts, reconciling charges and revenues, and delivering outstanding service to all guests. A successful Night Auditor possesses a friendly and professional demeanor, committed to maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.

Work Schedule: Full-time availability is required, including weekdays and weekends.

Compensation: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check guests into the hotel, confirming reservations and verifying personal information.
  • Assist with kiosk operations as needed.
  • Respond to phone inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Handle guest complaints and requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with department heads to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities and the surrounding area.
  • Process payments for guest accounts during check-in and check-out.
  • Manage nightly hotel operations, ensuring all revenue sources are accurately balanced and discrepancies are addressed.
  • Generate daily reports for management and assist with accounting tasks.
  • Investigate and document any service or safety concerns reported during the shift.
  • Familiarize yourself with all emergency procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Perform duties of a Guest Services Agent as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in hospitality, particularly in front office or accounting roles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions in a multilingual setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
