About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Specialist to join our team at WEG Electric Corp. This role will provide support and guidance to customers and outside sales personnel, focusing on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary interface for WEG, guiding customers and outside teams through the company's inner workings to ensure a positive and complete customer experience.
  • Receive and process customer requests, proactively involving all company resources to answer questions to customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously grow knowledge of WEG catalog products to quickly and confidently support customer applications.
  • Evaluate and process inquiries to provide pricing, stock availability, necessary modifications, and/or engineering requirements to ensure the proper product options are presented.
  • Process orders, verifying all information to support order accuracy, on-time delivery, and the customer experience.
  • Proactively follow up on opportunities to ensure all customer expectations have been met.
  • Oversee all company-identified accounts to ensure the customer base continues to support company goals.
  • Coordinate with and provide support to an assigned list of outside sales team members, focusing on removing obstacles to enhance their ability to focus on the growth of new business.
  • Lead the on-boarding process for new customers and develop those accounts until they can transition to a team account.
Requirements
  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of experience supporting customers or outside sales personnel.
Preferred Skills
  • Functional Microsoft Office skills.
  • Moderate understanding of industry trends, market forces, and customer expectations.
  • Basic product knowledge and applications.
  • Proficiency with the product catalog.
  • Phone etiquette for customer interaction.
