About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our team at TurtleTree. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development specialists to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities, including new markets, industries, and partnerships.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Business Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the business development pipeline, track progress against targets, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of 2-5 years in a business development or sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
