Key Responsibilities- Lead the exploration of new opportunities, develop strategies and business cases, and create strategic roadmaps to drive growth and expansion.
- Function as a business lead for large-scale, cross-functional growth projects, interfacing and partnering across CalOptima Health's departments and leadership.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for the department, and oversee staffing models, budget plans, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and staff to support short- and long-term goals and priorities for the department.
- A master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public policy, or public health, plus 7 years of experience in health policy, managed care, and related activities.
- 4 years of experience in management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with CalOptima Health's leadership and staff, as well as external contacts.
