We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Director, Business Development to join our team at CalOptima Health. As a key member of our Strategic Development department, you will be responsible for identifying and developing growth and expansion opportunities across lines of business and programs consistent with our mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the exploration of new opportunities, develop strategies and business cases, and create strategic roadmaps to drive growth and expansion.
  • Function as a business lead for large-scale, cross-functional growth projects, interfacing and partnering across CalOptima Health's departments and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for the department, and oversee staffing models, budget plans, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and staff to support short- and long-term goals and priorities for the department.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public policy, or public health, plus 7 years of experience in health policy, managed care, and related activities.
  • 4 years of experience in management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with CalOptima Health's leadership and staff, as well as external contacts.
