We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team at ForceBrands, the leading specialized recruiting firm for the consumer products industry.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for leveraging new and existing relationships to build a book of business with high-growth beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands. You'll collaborate with our team of industry-specialized Business Development Directors/Managers, Client Strategists, and Executive Recruiters to develop leads and build relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage new and existing relationships to build a book of business with high-growth beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands
  • Cold call, network, and schedule meetings with existing and new potential clients on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with teammates across sales and recruiting to develop leads and build relationships with our clients
  • Bring in business for our executive search service, board of director assembly, and digital job board, and be responsible for the overall management of their business contacts
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients and grow existing partnerships
  • Manage your workflow using our company CRM
  • Attend trade shows and trade events to help create and maintain client partnerships
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-4+ years of sales or business development experience within the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle industry, preferably in the agency space
  • Existing relationships with high-growth brands in the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle space
  • Entrepreneurial with a hunter mentality; comfortable building a book of business from the ground up
  • Proven track record of penetrating all levels and functions of a company
  • Experience in managing a large portfolio of accounts
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Ability to speak at the executive level with C-Suite executives
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G-Suite
  • A willingness and comfort communicating remotely through chat, shared documents, and video calls
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with our internal recruitment, marketing, finance, and operations teams
