Position Overview:

Our client seeks motivated and skilled Domestic Forwarding Sales Executives to acquire new B2B clientele.

Job Type: Full-time/hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Acquire clients who can benefit from the company's outstanding freight and warehousing services.
  2. Engage in sales through various channels including in-person meetings, phone calls, video conferences, and emails to foster relationships and guide prospects towards becoming clients.
  3. Conduct face-to-face meetings at client locations to strengthen relationships whenever feasible.
  4. Identify areas within clients' freight and warehousing requirements where the company can provide significant value.
  5. Be knowledgeable about the company's comprehensive online toolkit, which includes quoting, booking, tracking, and reporting functionalities, as well as EDI, API, TMS, and WMS systems.
  6. Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), collaborating with the operations team to develop logistics solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Preferred college degree; minimum requirement is a high school diploma.
  2. A minimum of two years of experience in any sales role with a proven track record of generating new business.
  3. Experience in selling to large corporations is advantageous.
  4. At least one year of experience in the freight industry is mandatory.
  5. An existing portfolio of freight business is preferred.
  6. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams and PowerPoint.
  7. A stable work history demonstrating success in sales.
  8. Competitive nature, driven to succeed, and open to coaching.
