Position Overview:
Our client seeks motivated and skilled Domestic Forwarding Sales Executives to acquire new B2B clientele.
Job Type: Full-time/hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire clients who can benefit from the company's outstanding freight and warehousing services.
- Engage in sales through various channels including in-person meetings, phone calls, video conferences, and emails to foster relationships and guide prospects towards becoming clients.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings at client locations to strengthen relationships whenever feasible.
- Identify areas within clients' freight and warehousing requirements where the company can provide significant value.
- Be knowledgeable about the company's comprehensive online toolkit, which includes quoting, booking, tracking, and reporting functionalities, as well as EDI, API, TMS, and WMS systems.
- Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), collaborating with the operations team to develop logistics solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
- Preferred college degree; minimum requirement is a high school diploma.
- A minimum of two years of experience in any sales role with a proven track record of generating new business.
- Experience in selling to large corporations is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in the freight industry is mandatory.
- An existing portfolio of freight business is preferred.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams and PowerPoint.
- A stable work history demonstrating success in sales.
- Competitive nature, driven to succeed, and open to coaching.
