Stine Seed Company is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Agronomist to cover the East Central South Dakota territory.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as an Independent Sales Representative. As a Regional Sales Agronomist, you will be responsible for managing existing dealer accounts, recruiting new dealerships, and increasing sales in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of existing dealer accounts, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with growers.
  • Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Implement sales programs and policies to meet established sales goals, working closely with the Regional Sales Agronomist to achieve success.
  • Develop strong relationships with potential customers, identifying new business opportunities and driving growth in the region.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in ag sales, agronomy, or crop production, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and overcome obstacles.
  • Success in dealer development and retention, as well as initiative and minimum supervision to meet established goals.
  • Prioritize building/maintaining strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values to achieve desired results.
What We Offer
  • A competitive estimated salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
