About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Donor Screening Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting donors at our plasma collection center and conducting a series of registration procedures to qualify donors for the plasma pheresis process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, which includes assessing self-administered health history, answering basic medical questions associated with the donation process, and referring donors to medical staff when necessary.
  • Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma and explain the screening process, health screening tests performed, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, proper nutrition, and other information pertinent to the donor.
  • Register applicants and transfer donors based on completion of appropriate training and operational needs of the center.
  • Answer telephone calls and provide appropriate information to callers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 18 months experience in a clerical or customer service-related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
