The Licensed Practical Nurse role at Cone Health is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team. This position supports the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider in a hospital setting, providing high-quality patient care and developing and implementing hospital-based care plans.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under close supervision to prepare equipment for procedures across the organization's hospital systems. You will also collect patient history and medical information to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records.

You will assist in developing and implementing care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to serve patient needs of those being treated in a hospital. Ensuring that the proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments is crucial in this role.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will communicate health care instructions to patients and families in a clear and effective manner to deliver information in a way that meets their needs. You will also help respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions to avoid patient harm.

This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a willingness to work collaboratively with the care team. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
