Job Overview

Position Title: Project Manager – II (Project Management Specialist)

The selected Contractor will appoint a Project Manager responsible for the proficient and effective orchestration and execution of planning, scope, development, design, and oversight of significant projects related to the Cyber Program. The Project Manager will ensure comprehensive customer support for cyber testing and training initiatives, including the collection and implementation of event specifications. These projects will necessitate technical services and material assistance to the Directorate of Information Management.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience as outlined below.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning, scoping, developing, designing, and directing major projects with extensive technical requirements, including IT, OT, and telecommunications/RF systems, utilizing principles from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Proven experience and knowledge of IT and OT devices and the management of related systems.
  • Experience with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 3G, and 4G technologies to facilitate the Wireless Network.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with external agencies and organizations, establishing responsibilities and setting clear expectations.
  • Experience in managing budgets and schedules effectively.

Security Clearance Requirements: An active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required for the duration of the contract.

Work Environment: This position operates in an office setting and routinely utilizes standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Capability to access and navigate various departments within the organization.

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be required for corporate support.
