Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Cyber Range Architect to oversee the integration, management, and configuration of the Cyber Training and Exercise Platform (CTEP). This role encompasses the operation, testing, and scheduling of the platform. The position is full-time and offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of cyber training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and update network configurations for events, integrating both hardware and software components while ensuring compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards.
  • Develop and implement procedures for range resets and assist in crafting training scenarios tailored to the needs of partners utilizing the CTEP platform.
  • Keep local design documentation and configurations current, collaborating with team members on the evolution of CTEP capabilities.
  • Conduct training sessions on CTEP usage and configuration, and support the establishment of virtual enclaves for training, exercises, and events.
  • Manage the technical operations of the CTEP environment and oversee multiple related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Must possess an active/current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Cyber Architect role, with at least 3 years in configuring and operating cyber range or computer test bed environments.
  • Certifications: IAT III Certification such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in designing and configuring computer networks, including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, active directory, VPNs, VLANs, and SANs, utilizing both bare metal and virtualized systems.
  • Experience with automation tools, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management, including Ansible, Chef, FOG, Project, Python, and Bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with Cloud, physical, and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Expertise in hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, and Xen.
  • Knowledge of Windows enterprise and Linux server/operating systems engineering and administration, including network vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with various technologies, including camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, and RF devices.
