Job Description

Position Title: Project Manager – II (Project Management Specialist)

The Contractor is expected to appoint a Project Manager responsible for the seamless coordination and execution of planning, scope, development, design, and oversight of significant projects within the Cyber Program. The Project Manager will ensure effective customer support for cyber testing and training initiatives, including the collection and implementation of event specifications. Projects will necessitate technical services and material assistance to the Directorate of Information Management.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience as outlined below.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the planning, scoping, development, design, and management of major projects with extensive technical requirements, including IT, OT, and telecommunications/RF systems, applying Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of IT and OT devices and the management of related systems.
  • Experience with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 3G, and 4G technologies to facilitate the Wireless Network.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with external agencies and organizations, as well as various internal functional elements, to establish responsibilities and set expectations.
  • Experience in budget and schedule management.

Security Clearance: An active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required throughout the duration of the contract.

Work Environment: This position is based in an office setting, utilizing standard office equipment regularly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to access and navigate various departments within the organization.

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

Travel Requirements: Occasional minimal travel for corporate support may be necessary.
