Licensed Electrical Engineer for Federal Projects

Halff is seeking a qualified Licensed Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to engage in a hybrid or remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop engineered contract documentation for various projects, serving as an electrical Project Manager to ensure timely completion, facilitating engineering decisions, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients.
- Oversee multiple projects, including the scheduling of work, materials, and manpower to achieve project goals and adhere to construction timelines. Generate comprehensive electrical project documentation, including plans, specifications, design analyses, and cost estimates for effective electrical system designs.
- Conduct on-site evaluations as required to gather existing condition data, participate in meetings, address construction inquiries, and provide site observation reports. Responsibilities may include reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, resolving construction challenges, and coordinating field installations to meet project deadlines and quality standards while following ethical and efficient procedures.
- Support the development and maintenance of client relationships.
- Mentor and enhance the skills of junior electrical designers and engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Must hold a Professional Engineer license in Texas or possess the capability to obtain licensure through NCEES in Texas and other states.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in Federal Sector projects.
- Proficient in lighting design, power distribution, and emergency power systems.
- Familiarity with SKM Systems Analysis or ETAP software is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Design-build experience is advantageous.
- Experience with USACE and GSA clients is beneficial.
- Ability to manage federal projects effectively.
