About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Solaris Solutions as a Foreman/Woman for Power Grid Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Operations: You will be responsible for carrying out construction, operations, and maintenance work on power supply networks and systems.
  • Planning and Coordination: You will support specialist supervisors in planning and implementing work in the power grid and in personnel deployment planning.
  • Operational Planning: You will plan operational construction activities on the instructions of specialist supervisors and work closely with department interfaces.
  • Materials Management: You will calculate materials, arrange orders for construction measures, and manage orders and construction numbers in the operating equipment information system.
  • External Service Provider Management: You will instruct external service providers, monitor them, and accept construction measures, carry out switching operations in the low-voltage network, and initiate measures for securing and troubleshooting, including documentation.
  • On-Call Duty and System Responsibility: You will participate in on-call duty (after qualification) and take over system responsibility in case of representation.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: You have successfully completed training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d) or an equivalent electrical engineering qualification.
  • Experience: You have at least five years of professional experience in the field of power supply, ideally with experience in intelligent infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and Skills: You have knowledge in construction, assembly, operation, and maintenance of networks and systems for the power grid as well as in the relevant laws, regulations, and standards of the supply industry.
  • Personal Qualities: You are characterized by communication skills, assertiveness, goal and solution orientation, as well as a strong service and customer orientation.
