Position Overview:
Soliant Education is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Creative Music Educator. This role presents an exceptional chance to motivate and educate students through a dynamic music curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Design: Develop and execute a comprehensive music program tailored for students across different grade levels. Create engaging lesson plans that encompass music theory, performance, composition, and historical context, adapting instruction to the diverse needs of learners.
- Instructional Excellence: Deliver high-quality music education that fosters creativity, expression, and musical proficiency. Teach various musical concepts, including rhythm, melody, harmony, and instrumental techniques.
- Performance Coordination: Plan and oversee student performances, concerts, and music-related events. Conduct rehearsals and assist students in preparing for showcases, ensuring excellence in execution and presentation.
- Classroom Leadership: Cultivate a positive and productive classroom atmosphere. Implement effective management strategies to maintain a respectful and focused learning environment.
- Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate students' progress in musical skills and knowledge through diverse assessment methods, including performance reviews and written evaluations. Provide constructive feedback to facilitate student growth.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with fellow educators, school personnel, and families to enhance students' overall educational experience. Participate in school functions, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Ongoing Professional Growth: Stay informed about the latest trends in music education and pursue continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and musical expertise.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related discipline.
- Licensure: A valid Professional Educator License in Illinois is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in music instruction, including classroom teaching and performance leadership, is preferred. A proven ability to inspire and engage students in music education is essential.
- Skills: Strong musical abilities and knowledge, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment while effectively managing classroom dynamics.
