Job Summary:

The Account Executive plays a crucial role in meeting and exceeding local and national sales goals by selling our outstanding inventory to qualified advertisers. This involves developing new business through direct customer outreach and high-level agency contacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue target attainment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships, persuasively communicating strategies for meeting customer needs within assigned markets/territories

  • Generate media kits and proposals based on customer needs, with support from the marketing team

  • Oversee sales from start to finish and ensure client satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline reports, accurately forecasting revenue projections
  • Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments to sufficiently service clients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience required
  • 2-3 years of sales experience; Media/Advertising sales preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of business-to-business sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social media platforms
  • Sales achievement with experience in consultative or needs-based selling techniques
  • Able to complete required math calculations (e.g., multiply, divide, rate, ratio, percent, produce/interpret bar graphs)
  • Sales and marketing skills
  • Understanding of sales cycle and selling skills
