Property Management Assistant

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Burlington Capital Properties is in search of a dedicated individual to take on the role of Property Management Assistant. This position offers a fulfilling career opportunity at our Indianapolis location. We are looking for a personable, bilingual, customer-focused professional with a minimum of two years of experience in leasing, administration, and property management.

This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with one Saturday each month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold policies and procedures that improve on-site operations.
  • Support daily property management activities.
  • Conduct leasing activities, including welcoming, touring, and assessing potential residents.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and handle administrative tasks.
  • Oversee move-in and move-out processes.
  • Engage with prospective residents daily to meet occupancy targets.
  • Promote resident retention and participate in leasing and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to resident relations and retention efforts.
  • Attend all staff meetings and collaborate with the team.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of the English language, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Ability to interact positively with residents, staff, vendors, and the public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial record-keeping.
  • Competent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills are necessary for this role.
