POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role entails responsibilities related to the development and enhancement of Inspection/Test Methods. The individual will be expected to work closely with Quality Engineering to assist in maintaining manufacturing processes and product innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must possess knowledge of and comply with the TOMZ Quality Management System.
  • Program automated measurement systems, including CMMs and Vision Systems.
  • Create Quality Inspection documentation such as Inspection Plans, detailing suitable inspection techniques and frequency justifications.
  • Assist in establishing production visual standards and standardized acceptance criteria for TOMZ's manufacturing operations.
  • Support the creation and upkeep of Process Control Plans.
  • Initiate and/or collaborate in the development and/or revision of Risk Management documentation in partnership with cross-functional engineering teams based on project needs.
  • Contribute to the development and selection of testing methods.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience (Manufacturing or Engineering background preferred).

Experience:

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing setting.
