Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication: Foster a culture of open and transparent communication through exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Quality Control Reviews: Perform thorough pre and post-evaluation of all new, renewal, modification, and extension documents for consumer, commercial, and residential loans to ensure:
    • Completeness of loan documentation
    • Correct use of documentation
    • Necessary approvals
    • Adherence to loan policies
    • Compliance with relevant government regulations
  • File Maintenance: Conduct quality assurance reviews on all changes made to loan account files.
  • Documentation Accuracy: Review loan documentation across various categories to ensure precision, efficiency, proper lien perfection, and compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the Compliance Officer to generate and maintain reports that ensure data accuracy across deposit and loan accounts.
  • Account Verification: Assess all new consumer and business accounts to confirm that all required documentation is collected and completed according to established procedures.
  • Loan Setup Review: Examine new loan setups, mortgage insurance premium billing, customer service inquiries, fees, and escrow arrangements.
  • Ownership Changes: Verify all required documentation for changes in account ownership, ensuring accuracy in account titling.
  • Correction Reporting: Distribute weekly correction reports to relevant bank personnel regarding new account documentation, reviewing and updating as necessary.
  • Address Verification: Review reports for address corrections as indicated by postal services.
  • Account Closure: Ensure all closed accounts are properly finalized and related services are updated or deactivated.
  • Project Assistance: Support various bank-level and departmental projects as needed.
  • Procedure Development: Assist in drafting and updating procedures pertinent to the role.
  • Training Participation: Actively seek out and attend relevant training sessions, subject to management approval.
  • Compliance Adherence: Uphold responsibilities related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) as they pertain to this position.
  • Customer Service: Address all customer inquiries and complaints with respect, maintaining the bank's commitment to exceptional service.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent experience in a related field is required. A minimum of two years of experience in banking, preferably within Bank Operations, is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of financial institution products, services, and applicable regulations is essential.


Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role require the employee to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers, and engage in occasional walking, standing, and lifting of light to moderate weights. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.


Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel to other locations may be necessary.
