POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mechanical Assembly Specialist is responsible for the assembly of machinery, components, and electrical systems based on specifications provided by the engineering department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble machinery and fabricated components in accordance with engineering designs.
  • Support production efforts by effectively managing assigned tasks.
  • Interpret technical documentation, including diagrams and schematics.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to align and assemble parts accurately.
  • Establish ethernet connections and install sensors as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical and operational records.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections on assembled products.
  • Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges creatively.
  • Dismantle completed systems and prepare products for distribution.
  • Install systems at client locations as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics, reading, and writing.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
  • Experience using hand tools effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to function as a cooperative team member.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Background in basic electrical assembly.
  • Experience with assembly tools and materials.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Capability to manage physical workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing processes.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on project requirements.
