Position Overview

Legrand presents an exceptional opportunity for a Lead Human Resources Specialist to become a vital part of the Data Center Power & Control Division Team. This role will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support to both employees and management across various HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, engagement initiatives, organizational events, training and development, as well as health and safety policy guidance and compliance with labor regulations.

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $105,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the formulation of policies, practices, and procedures related to Human Resources, ensuring effective communication and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Oversee all aspects of Human Resources to guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide assistance to employees and managers regarding compensation and benefits administration, addressing issues directly or liaising with the corporate benefits team.
  • Manage the performance evaluation process, ensuring timely completion and coaching managers on conducting meaningful discussions regarding goals, development, and performance feedback.
  • Lead multiple projects to support HR initiatives and employee relations programs, including planning and executing employee events, wellness programs, and other company-sponsored activities.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, adhering to established hiring protocols to ensure timely placements and a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of all employee personnel records.
  • Foster positive employee relations by providing counseling, mentoring, and resolving issues with managers and employees regarding job success, while keeping leadership informed of any significant situations.
  • Assist with safety initiatives and support OSHA compliance through records maintenance and annual reporting/posting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is essential.

  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
