Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Benefits Administrator to support our expanding operations. This role will be essential in managing payroll processes and employee benefits for our dynamic workforce. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll execution and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and execute bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles across multiple states and international locations.
  • Ensure adherence to payroll laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, collaborating with relevant federal and state agencies.
  • Provide training and support to management regarding wage and hour laws, as well as company policies.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, modifications, and terminations.
  • Maintain and update Human Resource Information System/Payroll records, generating reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with payroll vendors to enhance platform efficiency and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including eligibility assessments and enrollment processes.
  • Facilitate communication with brokers regarding benefits, retirement plans, and workers' compensation, addressing employee inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to retirement funds, garnishments, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Coordinate billing and payment reconciliation for benefit premiums, providing necessary documentation to accounting.
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports as required.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Support compliance, auditing, and vendor relations for benefits enrollment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing, particularly in multi-site and multi-state environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with technical HR software for report generation.
  • Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

The compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
