Position Overview

The Boar's Head Resort is currently looking for dedicated Housekeeping Attendants to join our esteemed Operations team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and public areas, ensuring that our 4 Diamond property meets the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and prepare all vacant guest rooms according to the daily schedule, which includes:
    • Washing and folding linens
    • Making and arranging beds
    • Dusting and polishing furniture
    • Mopping and vacuuming floors
    • Sanitizing bathrooms
    • Restocking guest amenities
    • Disposing of trash
  • Conduct a meticulous inspection of rooms using a checklist to ensure all cleaning standards are met.
  • Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of all guests' personal belongings.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in guest areas, including banquet facilities, hallways, and lobbies as required.
  • Support the overall objectives of the resort team by undertaking additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily cleaning targets.
  • Willingness to work 5-7 days a week, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
  • Capacity to clean up to 16 guest rooms daily.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Execute tasks with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail.
    • Organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
    • Understand and proactively address guests' service needs.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, especially in a Forbes-rated or AAA 4 Diamond establishment, is preferred.
