Job Summary

The Boar's Head Resort is seeking a skilled Room Attendant to join our Operations team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and areas are cleaned and set according to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and reset all vacant guest rooms, including washing linens, making beds, dusting furniture, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, restocking amenities, and disposing of trash.
  • Double-check rooms to ensure they meet our standards.
  • Protect the safety and confidentiality of guests' private information and personal items.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to rooms to your supervisor and the maintenance team.
  • Clean guest areas, banquet rooms, hallways, lobbies, and other public spaces as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily room resetting goals.
  • Ability to work 5-7 days per week, including weekends and holidays, in rotational shifts.
  • Ability to clean up to 16 guest rooms per day.
  • Proven ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, prioritize and organize tasks, work independently and as part of a team, and understand guests' service needs and solve them proactively.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably at a Forbes-rated or AAA 4 Diamond property, is desirable.
