Manager of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, RN

Job Overview:
The Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating the operational, financial, and administrative functions of Cardiopulmonary and Neuro-diagnostic Services, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, standards set by the College of American Pathologists, JCAHO, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
This role involves the establishment of policies and procedures to align with these standards, as well as those of the healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all personnel within the department who are involved in the assessment, treatment, or care of patients possess the necessary competencies to provide age-appropriate care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Respiratory Care
- At least two (2) years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Current Florida License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation is essential
