Nursing Unit Supervisor

Stamford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN UM) for our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of all nursing personnel on designated units and shifts.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct ongoing assessments of staff performance and activities to ensure optimal resident and patient care.
- Collaboration: Engage with nursing staff, other departmental personnel, and medical providers to guarantee high-quality care for each resident and patient.
- Supervisory Duties: Fulfill all supervisory responsibilities for the assigned unit.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and enforcement of employee policies and procedures.
- Resident Relations: Address inquiries or concerns raised by residents or their families.
Experience in Long Term Care and as a Charge Nurse is advantageous.
