Nursing Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Stamford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.
Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality care.
- Staff Development: Identify and develop the skills and abilities of our nursing staff, providing training and mentorship to help them grow in their careers.
- Quality Improvement: Work with our quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the care we provide.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with our residents, families, and healthcare team to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
- Education: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience: At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a skilled nursing facility.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
