Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Director of Nursing at Fairfield Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality resident care services and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nursing Compliance and Quality: Ensure that nursing practices and procedures are in line with The Company's policies, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, evaluate, and assign nursing staff to ensure effective delivery of resident care services.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
  • Resident Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, medical directors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that necessary equipment, supplies, and resources are available to support the delivery of resident care services.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
  • Experience: Significant technical experience and demonstrated leadership/management skills.
  • Geriatric Nursing Background: Proven experience in geriatric nursing, with a strong understanding of restorative care principles.
  • Communication and Organization Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
