Position Summary
The Accounting Manager will oversee financial and tax reporting to the parent organization, ensuring adherence to all control measures, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Tax processes.
- Conduct and review account reconciliations while maintaining the General Ledger for precise financial reporting.
- Oversee the monthly and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely financial data submission to HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
- Manage sales and use tax reporting, along with local income tax processes, in collaboration with corporate tax teams.

- Lead compliance testing for SOX, Internal Audit, External Audit, and Internal Balance Sheet Reviews, ensuring that internal controls are effectively implemented and followed.

- Assist in the monthly forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards.
- Administer various systems, including banking, expense reporting, freight, and credit card management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the industry.
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting firm or publicly traded company.
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, with the ability to prepare reports for internal or external stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.
- Capability to utilize logical or scientific reasoning to address a wide range of intellectual and practical challenges.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with accounting software, database management, internet applications, spreadsheet tools, and word processing software.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to use hands for various tasks, communicate verbally, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is between $100K and $120K annually, with actual compensation determined by relevant experience, skills, location, credentials, and internal equity.
