Job Title: Administrative and Professional Staff

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Administrative and Professional Staff at the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the office, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Administrative and Professional Staff will provide administrative support to the Sheriff's Office, including but not limited to:

  • Providing information and assistance to the public, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Processing and maintaining records, permits, and licenses
  • Assisting with budgeting, accounting, and fiscal management
  • Supporting the evidence control and storage process
  • Monitoring and controlling security systems, doors, and alarms
  • Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment
  • Providing technical assistance and support to other staff members
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to the public, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Processing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, permits, and licenses
  • Assisting with budgeting, accounting, and fiscal management, including preparing and analyzing financial reports
  • Supporting the evidence control and storage process, including receiving, processing, and storing evidence and property
  • Monitoring and controlling security systems, doors, and alarms, including responding to emergency situations
  • Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment, including procuring and maintaining inventory
  • Providing technical assistance and support to other staff members, including training and mentoring
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • A valid Washington State driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
