Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Hire Military Talent. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of control systems for our material handling and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Control System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on control systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motors/Wiring configurations, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Computers, Electrical Schematics, Control Circuits, and Preventive/Predictive maintenance.
  2. PLC Control Maintenance: Diagnose and maintain PLC Control level issues, with a focus on Allen Bradley systems.
  3. Control Components Handling: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and other related equipment.
  4. Collaboration: Build positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organization to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Control Systems troubleshooting and programming.
  • Experience with repairing control network components.
  • Experience with motor controls, including motor starters, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
  • Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) components.
  • Experience with industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in supporting a range of different conveyors and sortation systems.
  • Knowledge of AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLCs and PLC components.
  • Familiar with SCADA systems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
