About the Role

Factory Automation Systems is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning PLC and VFD systems, as well as implementing functional machine safety systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automation solutions for manufacturing companies
  • Develop and maintain safety risk assessments and mitigation services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver turnkey automation solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation controls and safety systems
Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in automation controls, safety systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing functional machine safety systems
  • TUV certification in Functional Machine Safety (a plus)
  • Experience with Ethernet/IP and other industrial networks (a plus)
