Role Overview: Control Systems GNC Engineer

  • Engage in the design, development, analysis, testing, and verification of linear, modern, and nonlinear control systems.
  • Facilitate the advancement of sophisticated guidance, navigation, and control systems for aircraft.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders to uphold safety, performance, and efficiency benchmarks. Key responsibilities encompass control system design, validation testing, and optimization of aircraft capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to control system design initiatives.
  • Evaluate proposed designs, focusing on robustness, stability, and uncertainty assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for control system integration.
  • Conduct simulations and develop test coverage scenarios.
  • Create flight control algorithms and methodologies.
  • Participate in flight testing and work alongside other engineering teams.
  • Assist in the development of system-level requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, Master's degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 1-2 years in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of control system design methodologies and GNC technical areas.
  • Experience with robust, adaptive, and nonlinear control strategies.
  • Familiarity with autonomous systems, flight control, and guidance algorithms.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and various simulation tools.
  • Experience in flight testing and data interpretation.
  • Strong analytical and collaborative skills.
  • A genuine passion for aviation and advanced aircraft technologies.
